Jamie Heaslip has declared himself fit now that the "wolverine blood" has "kicked in" ahead of this Saturday's European Champions Cup match-up against Castres at the RDS.
The Leinster captain has made a speedy recovery from a shoulder injury and looks likely to regain his place in the starting side this weekend.
"[Leinster head coach] Mattie [O'Connor] just thought I needed a week off because he says I’m getting old," joked Heaslip, "but I say I’m like Benjamin Button, only getting younger. The Wolverine blood kicked in and I was grand. I’m fine.”
O'Connor says that tighthead prop Marty Moore has a chance of playing, despite his recent return from injury, but the game will come too soon for either Cian Healy or Sean O'Brien.
O'Connor has also revealed that the province ruled out an appeal against Jack McGrath's three-week ban after legal advisors had informed them that the decision was unlikely to be changed.
