WATCH: A passionate Samoan war dance welcomed New Zealand to Apia this morning

After years of negotiations and invitations, the All Blacks have finally played Samoa in a Test Match in Apia. The two countries teams are historically linked with New Zealand regularly playing many Samoan born players including Sonny Bill Williams and Kevin Mealamu who played in the game.

One of the most anticipated parts of the fixture was the pre match clash of cultures of the New Zealand Haka and the Samoa Siva Tau. The intensity of both war dances set the tone for a physical test match.

A teams traded tries in the game, with debutant George Moala scoring for the All Blacks. Moala's try was cancelled out by Samoan Alafoti Faosiliva later in the second half.

Dan Carter scored the remaining 20 points for New Zealand from the boot as the World Champions won the game 25-16.
