Ulster have secured a place in the Guinness Pro 12 Top Four, leaving Leinster with a mountain to climb to get into that hallowed territory after a 26-10 home win over Matt O'Connor's side.
Leinster came into the match knowing a victory was crucial and out-half Jimmy Goperth kicked the visitors into a 3-0 lead, before converting Ben Te'o's sixth minute try.
Ian Henderson responded by going over for Ulster's first try with Ruan Pienaar adding the extras, the first two points of an eventual total of 16 for the South African.
Ulster took control of the result in the second half thanks to Pienaar's boot and a 73rd minute try from Craig Gilroy to leave 16 points between the sides at the finish and severely denting Leinster's faint playoff hopes.
Ulster lock up semi final place. Any two match points for Ospreys tomorrow locks Leinster out of the playoffs.
