As the crunch match between Ireland and England approaches, the intricacies of set pieces and strategies are being vociferously combed over by both sides.
But the spark of individuality is one thing that is sometimes impossible to counteract.
Both Joe Schmidt and Stuart Lancaster have potential match-winners in their ranks.
But one player who has been getting a lot of attention ahead of Sunday's clash is England centre Jonathan Joseph.
The scorer of three tries in two Six Nations matches, thus far, has been pinpointed by Newstalk Sport's pundits recently.
Last Friday, our guest presenter Brian O'Driscoll analysed the 13, saying: "This guy, without a shadow of a doubt, has bucketloads of confidence. I still think he's a little bit unproven from a defensive perspective and Ireland should target that."
Listen to the podcast for more of Brian and Stuart Barnes on Jonathan Joseph:
Sky Sports analyst Stuart Barnes was "certain Ireland would look to get at him".
"There's no doubt at all about his talent. We saw that for Bath against Toulouse, and it's jaw-dropping. He's backed that up with two outstanding performances for England. Against this guy, the problem is if you drift and you're the guy marking him, you don't trust your inside drifter because he's got such an incredible change of pace. It's really hard just to back with you're doing," said Barnes, who highlighted the relationship between Joseph and England out-half George Ford.
Ex-England back-row Martin Corry also told the Monday Rewind that Joseph has impacted on England's approach.
"Typically the England style has been the ball playmaker at 12 and the big guy in Tuilagi at 13. We've had to change that around. Joseph at 13 has been a revelation for us. He just adds a very different dimension and changes the way we attack. His combination with Ford, it works well at Bath. But it's one thing playing well for your club and it's another thing playing well at international level.
So here's how Joseph has fared statistics-wise during the current Six Nations:
