Jonathan Sexton has been passed fit to play against France next week after recovering from concussion.
It is reported that Racing Metro fly-half met his neurologist in Paris yesterday for a final consultation on the head injuries that have put him out of action since the November victory over Australia.
Sexton suffered concussion during that game, his fourth such head injury last year, and was stood down from contact for a minimum period of 12 weeks. That period ends next Saturday, the day Les Bleus come to the Aviva.
The former Leinster star misses tomorrow’s Six Nations game against Italy.
Meanwhile, Sexton's former team-mate Brian O'Driscoll will be on Newstalk's Off The Ball tonight, while The Right Hook Six Nations Rugby Podcast is now available to download.
