The Japanese bandwagon may be over already after their loss to Scotland, even if the jersey did sell out in sports shops here in Ireland, but they're still providing plenty of memorable moments at this World Cup.
One of those came in the match yesterday with what may well be one of the tackles of the tournament, as Ayumu Goromaru smashed Tommy Seymour close to the line, when it looked as though the Scotland wing was in for a certain try.
The tackle occurs around the 1:20 mark in the highlights package.
It typified a strong performance from Japan, but as the game wore on the short turnaround time from their heroics against South Africa on the weekend took a toll and they ended up on the wrong end of a 45-10 scoreline.
However, Seymour wasn't about to forget the amazing tackle that he had received, as he tweeted the morning after the game to say that he was still feeling the after effects of the hit.
Finally managed to get myself to Leeds, Took a little longer than the rest of the lads after Goramaru sent me 3 counties over with that hit.
