Australian star Quade Cooper has made a pretty impressive start to life in France.
The 27 year old made his Toulon debut at the weekend are moving to France from the Queensland Reds after the World Cup. Cooper made one appearance for the Wallabies in the World Cup, as his side defeated Uruguay in their Pool A game at Villa Park.
He was unveiled to the French public last week after protracted contract negotiations. He has signed a two year deal with the club but can be released to play for the Australia Sevens team in the Olympics next year.
Cooper impressed for the European Champions on Saturday in a 52-8 win over Montpellier. The highlight of his debut was a no look grubber kick to set up Lachie Turner to score a try.
