It's rugby cliché at this point to say that Italy have a strong pack but struggle further back.
However, heading into Ireland's opening game in Rome, the name Kelly Haimona has been cropping up a fair bit.
On the Monday Rewind, Italy-based former Leinster out-half Ian McKinley described the 28-year-old as a "calming presence" and specifically highlighted his maturity.
Ex-Ireland international Trevor Hogan also cited the Zebre player's importance to the Italians when speaking to Off The Ball on Monday night.
But what do we know about Haimona?
Hugely versatile, the 6"1, he can also fill in at centre and at full-back.
In terms of Italy caps, Haimona only has three. That's because he was born in New Zealand and only qualified to represent the Azzurri in October after moving to the country in late 2011.
Those three caps in the November internationals yielded 35 points, including 14 scored in a 24-13 win over Samoa in Ascoli and five penalties from six in a narrow defeat to Argentina.
Domestically, he has notched 49 points in 12 games for the Guinness Pro 12's bottom side Zebre, including a drop goal in a famous 13-6 win over Ulster in September.
His form has also earned him praise from Italy legend and team-mate Sergio Parisse:
"Before arriving at the Zebre Kelly was at Calvisano, which is not good enough to play in the national team.
"He has improved a lot at Zebre and deserved his opportunity in November. Jacques Brunel took a chance on him and that faith has already been repaid.
"He has so much ability but fly-half is pressurised, having to make hundreds of decisions every match, and he will have some difficult moments as well as some very good moments in this championship.
"It is important for me and the other forwards to give him a platform to play without too much pressure and show everyone how good he is.
"We need Kelly to build his confidence through this tournament because he's probably going to be our fly-half at the World Cup."
