Brian O'Driscoll this morning paid tribute to New Zealand's Richie McCaw after he surpassed the former Irish captain's record as most capped international player of all time.
The Kiwi's flanker featured in New Zealand's defeat to Australia in the opening of the Bledisloe Cup to equal the record last weekend and today went one better as he lined out for his 142nd appearence for the country, once again against Australia.
The All-Blacks ran out comfortable 41-13 win in Auckland and O'Driscoll praised the veteran flankers achievement saying:
Huge congrats to Richie McCaw in becoming the most capped Test player of all time. No one could be more deserving. #142

A touch of class from the former Leinster player, who played against McCaw when he made his debut against Ireland in 2001.
