Leinster head coach Matt O'Connor hopes the second half which helped see off Ulster 24-11 on Saturday is a turning point.
Speaking to Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre after the match, O'Connor felt an upturn in intensity in the second '40 helped Leinster extend their narrow half-time lead.
"The message was pretty simple at half-time. It was just to keep doing what we were doing, but do it better and do it with more intensity. They were hanging on at stages in the first half and the sin-bin was pretty important in relation to the three points and the lead at half-time," said O'Connor, who also praised Ian Madigan for his try.
O'Connor also felt Jack Conan was "outstanding" and a deserving Man-of-the-Match, while he also highlighted the contribution of Jordi Murphy.
Dave also spoke to Ulster head coach Neil Doak, who was happy with his team's tempo in the first half.
But he admitted that indiscipline probably cost them in the second half with Dan Tuohy sin-binned and the concession of a try early in the second '40.
