Munster defeated London Irish by 21-8 in tonight's pre-season friendly at Irish Independent Park in Cork.
Full-back Andrew Conway scored two tries for the home side as they charged into a 21 point lead at half-time before London Irish fought back during the second-half.
However, the win for Munster has been tempered by news that new signing Francis Saili had to be stretchered off the ptich during the second-half with a serious looking injury, shortly after scoring a try.
Cont'd Saili has gone to hospital & from 1st thoughts it's a concussion #MunVLon but he will get a full check & know more then.
