Ian Madigan scored an impressive try against Ulster but how did the Leinster fly-half's game-management measure up?
We asked Trevor Hogan and Bernard Jackman on Off The Ball tonight and both analysed Madigan's contribution.
"Maybe there are one or two specifics in terms of the kick offs Leinster had. A couple of cheeky ones didn't come off and Leinster were under serious pressure off the back of them. But that's something he can iron out very easily. Other than that, I thought the game-management was pretty okay, pretty spot on," said Trevor, while Bernard added that it would have been a team decision to try those higher risk kick offs.
"I think he's the best 10 they have," said Bernard of the versatile Ireland international," he gives you that X Factor and creativity."
The lads also praised Luke Fitzgerald's performance at outside centre against Ulster, with Trevor highlighting his footwork, while Bernard picked out his technique and bravery into contact.
Trevor also believes Fitzgerald could even be the starting 13 for Ireland as a challenger to Connacht's Robbie Henshaw.
Comparing the two, Bernard said: "For me, at the moment it would be Robbie at 12 and Luke at 13."
