After scoring 12 points at the weekend for Ireland in their World Cup warm up game against Scotland, Ian Madigan speaks in studio tonight to Off the Ball.
He talks to Joe about his time in the camp at Carton House ahead of the World Cup along with his involvement in the Fantasy Rugger app, which fans can use during the tournament.
The Leinster number ten also tells Joe about game management and how he feels trusting his instincts is crucial to playing well. He mentions how Joe Schmidt questions members of the Ireland squad if mistakes are made wanting to know what went through the players minds when making the decision.
Madigan also tells Joe about his battles with Jonny Sexton and Paddy Jackson in camp and he speaks candidly about sitting out some sessions and watch the two fly halves, hoping the session goes well but not wanting them to do too well.
Off the Ball is on the air tonight from 7pm. You can hear Ian Madigan speak to Joe Molloy after 8pm.
