Keith Wood: Healy and O'Brien can carry the game to Bath

Keith Wood reckons the return of two of Ireland's best ball-carriers to the Leinster fold could make all the difference against Bath tomorrow.

Cian Healy and Sean O'Brien have been absent for most of the season and 2001 world player-of-the-year Wood says their availability for the Champions Cup quarter-final at the Aviva Stadium could be key.

Leinster name their team at lunchtime for the clash, which will be broadcast live on Off The Ball.

Also, Eoin Reddan being fit for action has been offset by Zane Douglas' injury, but Wood told Newstalk's Oisin Langan this morning: "Eoin Reddan being fit is of far more importance [than Kane Douglas being missing], plus there's two guys who we haven't mentioned a huge amount for Leinster this season in Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy.

"You could just see their influence on the Irish system in the last couple of games because of their ball-carrying capability.

"One of the things that Leinster have really struggled with all season is getting over the gain line. People are bemoaning the fact that they run a bit laterally and haven't been attacking so much the outside backs.

"But for the most part they've been trying to run slow ball and they're not very good at that, if we're to be honest.

"One of the reasons is that they're really used to the idea of getting over the gain line. With those two guys back, Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy, I just think it puts them in a better position."

The former Ireland hooker reckons the Blues would be "very frustrated with the manner in which they've played" during the madcap 34-34 draw against Glasgow last weekend, and added that Bath "have a touch of brilliance about them and they're on the climb".
