This weekend, Ireland has the pleasure of playing host to a major Rugby 7s event for the first time.
Twelve nations will descend on Dublin's UCD Bowl on Saturday and Sunday to take part in the tournament which promises two qualification places for the 2015-16 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series.
Ireland will be joined by Brazil, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, Samoa, South Africa and Wales.
With the Rio Olympics on the horizon, Ireland will hope to advance to that elite stage to play against the crême de la crême of rugby 7 competitors on a regular basis, with Brazil and Colombia already qualified for the Olympics.
Ahead of Ireland's opening match against Mexico which begins at 12.50pm, Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre caught up with Ireland player Jenny Murphy about why success in this tournament is vital:
