Jaco Taute fit as Munster make five changes for Scarlets

Fit-again Jaco Taute returns to the starting XV as Munster make five changes to their team to face Scarlets this weekend.

He starts at fullback after making a full recovery from his shoulder knock sustained against Newport Gwent Dragons two weeks ago.

Centre Dan Goggin take his place alongside Francis Saili in midfield in what is the only other change to the backline.

Back row Conor Oliver makes his first appearance in the number 8 jersey and his second Guinness PRO12 appearance as he joins Dave O'Callaghan and Tommy O'Donnell in the back three.

Billy Holland and Dave Foley will partner one another, while Stephen Archer lines out in the front row beside Rhys Marshall and Dave Kilcoyne.

The game comes too soon for some of those involved in last weekend's narrow victory over Ospreys in Wales. Jack O'Donoghue (ankle) and Rory Scannell (knee) will both sit the game out, but are likely to make a return to full training next week.

Ian Keatley and Andrew Conway return from Ireland camp to be named in the match-day 23. Elsewhere in the replacements, lock Fineen Wycherley is included in his first Guinness PRO12 squad.

The 19-year-old made two starts for the Ireland U20s in this year's 6 Nations campaign.

Kick-off on Friday night at Thomond Park is at 7.35pm.
