Ireland's fixtures for the remaining 2020 Six Nations campaign have been confirmed with a home tie against Italy on Saturday October 24th and an away trip to France on Saturday October 31st.
The COVID-19 pandemic saw the Six Nations fixtures postponed in March, but the details have today been revealed for the four outstanding ties to take place in October.
A kick-off time for the home clash against Italy in Dublin will be confirmed in due course. The following weekend Ireland will be in action at the Stade de France for a Saturday night game at 8pm against France.
The IRFU has today confirmed details of the ticket refund process for supporters who had purchased tickets for the original fixture.
In accordance with current Government guidelines on social distancing at sporting events it is unlikely that a capacity crowd will be at the Aviva Stadium.
Therefore, the IRFU has cancelled tickets for the original Ireland v Italy fixtures and will organise a refund to ticket holders.

The round five matches between Wales and Scotland and Italy and England have also been rescheduled for October 31st.
Ben Morel, Six Nations CEO commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to make this announcement today. While the past few months have been extremely challenging, we have always remained hopeful of concluding this year’s tournament.
“We are really looking forward to the final games in the Men’s and Women’s Championships. There is still so much to play for, and we are hugely excited for what lies ahead.
“Public health remains the number one priority and while we must continue to be vigilant and cognisant of the dynamic and fast changing external environment, we are nonetheless extremely pleased to be moving in the right direction.”
A full fixture schedule of both men and women’s matches will be released soon while it has been decided with regards to the U20 Six Nations championship, the three outstanding matches will not be played due to season scheduling constraints.
This will be the first year that there will be no winner since the championship was created in 2008. Ireland were currently the Triple Crown champions.
