Ireland are Six Nations champions for 2018, and completed the Grand Slam with a 24-15 victory over England in Twickenham.
Joe Schmidt's side couldn't have got off to a better start as Garry Ringrose touched down after just five minutes of play when Rob Kearney contested a high ball with England's Anthony Watson, forcing the fullback to spill the ball backwards and gifting the opportunistic Ringrose the game's opening try.
The lead was doubled twenty minutes later when Bundee Aki broke through the English line, sucking in the scrambled defenders before releasing CJ Stander into just enough space to allow the No.8 to touch the ball against the post, with Johnny Sexton making it two out of two from the boot, and putting Ireland 14-0 up.
An Elliot Daly try during Peter O'Mahony's time in the sin bin pulled the game back to 14-5 as England looked to find a way into the game, but Jacob Stockdale struck with a brilliant individual try on the stroke of half-time, kicking over the head of Mike Brown and touching the loose ball down with mere inches left before the end line.
Joey Carbery was on as a temporary injury replacement, and his conversion made the half-time score 21-5, with Ireland in complete control.
The second half continued in the vein of the first, with England failing to create many scoring chances and conceding a wide variety of needless penalties as Ireland continued to manage the game well, with Conor Murray slotting a 59th minute penalty to leave the score at 24-5.
There was a comeback of sorts as Elliot Daly ran over again in the 65th minute, but again the conversion was missed by Owen Farrell. A period of huffing and puffing from the English was met by a resolute Irish defence, who managed to hold out until the clock went red before Jonny May scored an unconverted try, putting some respectability on the score with the game finishing 24-15 to 2018's Six Nations Grand Slam champions Ireland.
