A clinical performance from Ireland kept their Six Nations hopes alive as they ran in nine tries to beat a sorry Italy in Rome 63-10.

We rate Joe Schmidt's men on their display on Saturday:

Rob Kearney - 8

Rarely put a foot wrong and commanded the back field like he does best.

Keith Earls  - 8

Clinical finishing display from the Munsterman as he ran in two tries. Put himself about in defence as well.

Garry Ringrose - 7

Quiet enough in the first half apart from am intelligent tackle in the 21st minute which halted an Italian attack. Grew into the match and took a brilliant line to cut through the home defence and score under the posts in the second half.

Robbie Henshaw - 8

Went off injured early in the second half but his afternoon's work was done. Powerful display and made it past the gain line every time he got the ball.

Simon Zebo - 8

Silky display from the speedster but should have scored early on despite having to twist back inside. A threat whenever he got the ball.

Paddy Jackson - 8

Imperious display from the out-half. Kept his back-line moving and was perfect from the tee.

Conor Murray - 8

Much improved display after last week's blip. Brought his physicality to the game and made an early tackle on Parisse which set the tone for the afternoon.

Cian Healy - 7

Played his part in a dominant scrum and was a menace around the field. Emptied the tank before being replaced.

Niall Scannell - 8

As debut's go, he couldn't have asked for better. Solid at line-out time and can be happy with his performance in the scrum.

Tadhg Furlong - 8

Fast becoming one of our most effective ball carriers and has helped turn our scrum into a weapon.

Donnacha Ryan - 7

Industrious display around the park but was guilty of collapsing a maul which led to a penalty try and yellow card.

Devin Toner - 7

Solid in the line-out and did his part around the park.

CJ Stander - 9

Took his three tries superbly but carried relentlessly and made metres every time he got the ball.

 Sean O'Brien - 8

Overshadowed by the free-scoring Stander but was just as effective around the field. Threw a fair few offloads as well to keep the pressure on the home defence.

Jamie Heaslip (c) - 7

Led the team well in the absence of Rory Best. Went to the corner instead of taking an easy three points and his decision was rewarded with a try.

Bench - 9

The replacements did this week what they couldn't do last week. Granted the circumstances were different but their impact was immense especially Craig Gilroy who bagged three tries.
