Ireland have made it two wins from two in this season's Six Nations after holding off France.
Five penalties from Johnny Sexton, and one for Ian Madigan saw Joe Schmidt's side beat Les Bleus 18-11 at the Aviva in a hard-fought encounter.
The match almost turned towards the end when France brought on Morgan Parra and exerted pressure. Although they got a late try through lock Romain Taofifenua, Ireland held on for a seven-point win.
Next up for Ireland in a fortnight's time, an England side that ran in six tries in a 47-17 defeat of Italy at Twickenham.
