A converted try from Jamie Heaslip was enough for Leinster to edge past Treviso tonight in their Pro 12 battle at the RDS.
Last year's champions were playing host to the Italian minnows, knowing that they needed a comfortable victory to boost their chances of finishing in fifth place in the table.
But they had to settle for a 10-0 win, which was enough to secure Champions Cup qualification.

Despite dominating possession, Leinster were unable to add another try to the early effort scored by Heaslip, which was converted by Ian Madigan inside the opening 10 minutes.
Jimmy Gopperth stretched the lead late on with a penalty.
Sean O'Brien received a yellow card in the final minutes, along with Treviso's Francesco Minto, while Edoardo Gori was red carded.
