Jamie Heaslip admits Leinster have much to improve on ahead of Saturday’s return clash against Harlequins at the Aviva Stadium.
The Blues were beaten 24-18 away to Conor O’Shea’s men yesterday, although a losing bonus point leaves them just three points behind Quins at the top of Pool 2 in the European Champions Cup.
And while captain Heaslip sees positives in Leinster’s loss, he insists they will have to up their game for the return at Lansdowne Road.
“We came out of it with a losing bonus point, which is good but not what we want obviously,” said Heaslip. “So there’s good things. I thought our maul was good, I thought our defence was good. I felt quite comfortable in defence for most of it.
“At the same time there’s a lot to work on, which is a bit of a weird position to be in, but it gives us something to work on for the next six days.”
