Dave Kearney might have had an unfortunate run of injuries in recent times, but the Leinster and Ireland winger wouldn't change a thing if it meant playing in a successful Six Nations winning team remains intact.
The 25-year-old joined us on Off The Ball tonight ahead of tomorrow's clash against Wales - match he will not be involved in.
"If you'd said to me last year that 'you'd player every game, every minute of the Six Nations and you'd have a medal to show for it at the end of it but unfortunately you'd injure your ACL at the end of the season', I'd probably say yes," he said.
And he is confident that his run of games at the end of 2013 and start of 2014 against some of the world's best teams mean it will be a seamless transition for him when he is fit enough to take his place in the Ireland camp again.
"The New Zealand game in particular was my first start for Ireland and obviously I'd made my debut a couple of weeks beforehand. That was a massive confidence booster for me, knowing that I could play against the best team in the world and play a full game and have a decent game," said Kearney, who then continued as first choice for last year's successful Six Nations tilt.
