Munster head coach Anthony Foley admits Connacht dealt with the adverse weather better than his side at the Sportsground yesterday and ultimately "the best team won”.
Second-half tries from Craig Ronaldson and Aly Muldowney proved crucial as Connacht defeated Munster 24-16 in their Guinness PRO12 clash.
“They managed the conditions a lot better than what we did,” said Foley, “they had a lot more opportunities than we did ... so the best team won.”
Speaking to Galway Bay FM’s Rob Murphy, Foley said Munster paid for not keeping possession well enough in the second half and agreed that the PRO12 is getting tougher.
