England rugby union fly-half Owen Farrell will miss the whole of the Six Nations championship after suffering a knee ligament injury.
The Saracens No 10 was hurt in a tackle during Sunday's European Champions Cup match for his club side.
Bath's George Ford is the frontrunner to start against Wales in their opening game.
Northampton's Stephen Myler and Danny Cipriani of Sale are also in the squad.
On Farrell's absence, England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: "It's a real shame for Owen that he sustained this injury and we wish him the best for his recovery. We are fortunate to have three other No 10s in the squad in what is a very competitive position and we will look forward to seeing how they go over the RBS 6 Nations."
