England full-back Mike Brown is a major doubt for the weekend's crucial Six Nations clash with Ireland as he recovers from concussion.
The influential Harlequins player took a heavy whack to the head during victory over Italy nine days ago.
Coach Stuart Lancaster told Sky Sports News he was still struggling with concussion during his return to play protocol last week.
"He began it on Friday and he developed some symptoms on Friday afternoon. So he was stood down for a further 24 hours and he begins the process now today. Obviously we'll wait and see how that goes during the course of the week. Obviously the earliest he would return to training with us is Friday," said Lancaster.
