Leinster's preparations for next season have been hit by another setback.
The province has confirmed that second-row Kane Douglas has been called-up to the Australian squad for the Rugby Championship.
This year's tournament runs from July 17th to August 8th.
The move comes as a surprise for the province, as the 26-year-old has just 14 caps for the Wallabies, which would appear to rule him out of the selection criteria that as been set by the Australian Rugby Union for overseas-based players.
Douglas made 20 appearances for Leinster last season.
