Yesterday was an absolute beano, with my recommendations Singing Banjo at 12/1 and Chacun Pour Soi at 6/4 both winning, and 22/1 each-way pick Call Me Lyreen beaten a short head.

So here are my thoughts and virtual money advice for Wednesday's races at the County Kildare track.
Be sure to shop around, with many bookmakers offering different odds and each-way terms.
3.40 - 2 mile 4-furlong Handicap Hurdle
Two years ago, Bay Hill finished third in this race despite finding trouble in running and this horse has retained his ability, finishing a close third over fences behind subsequent Grand National winner Minella Times at Listowel back in October. I think he has an each-way chance at a big price with Aidan Kelly in the saddle.
4.15 - 2 mile 4-furlong Hurdle
A winner of his last race at Wexford by 8 and a half lengths, Calthor (NAP) should appreciate the step up in trip as he is a point-to-point winner over 3 miles. Trained by Gavin Cromwell and ridden by Mark Walsh, I think there's more to come.
4.50 - 2 mile 4-furlong Hurdle
Once upon a time, Blue Sari was second to Envoi Allen in the Cheltenham bumper, before losing his way somewhat. He would have been booked for second in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham last time out but for falling at the last. He should go close to making amends today.
5.20 - 3 mile Novice Hurdle
I was impressed by the cruising speed and resolution up the Cheltenham hill displayed by Galopin Des Champs during his Festival victory in the Martin Pipe Hurdle. He has Vanillier to beat, but there has been market support for his chances and he could find further improvement to score.
5.55 - 3 mile Gold Cup
The ground had soft patches to it yesterday after watering and showers, so it shouldn't inconvenience dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Al Boum Photo. I still believe he sets the standard and although he couldn't make it a hat-trick of wins last month, I think he is the best horse in this field on his day. He's also fresh, having only run twice this season. His trainer, Willie Mullins, is also flying and we saw Chacun Pour Soi bounce back in the Champion Chase.
7.00 - 2 mile 4-furlong Handicap Chase
The Willie Mullins trained Blazer, once a runner-up in a Galway Hurdle, has been tumbling down the weights and carries only 10 stone today under Simon Torrens. It's a bit of a shot in the dark, but I feel he's worth an each-way wager at a big price. He's won at the course and nicer ground may aid his chances. There has been market support, from my recommendation on Off the Ball AM of 40/1 now down to 28/1.
7.35 - 2 mile Mares Bumper
It was noticeable that trainer Lorna Fowler sent out Colonel Mustard to be second in Tuesday's novice hurdle at a tasty price and Manisanda has an opportunity to make the frame after a good third on her debut at Fairyhouse.

7.00 - €1.50 each way Blazer at 28/1 (1/5 the odds the first 6 places) - Advertised at 40/1 on Off the Ball AM
7.35 - €1.50 each way Manisanda at 8/1 (1/5 the odds the first 4 places)
