'It's going to be difficult for Tiger Roll' | John Duggan on Cheltenham Day Three

It was a mixed day for the Irish on Cheltenham's second day as Tiger Roll failed to win the Cross Country Chase, while Willie Mullins' Ferny Hollow won the Weatherby's Champion Bumper.

Off The Ball's John Duggan was at Cheltenham to soak in all the action on day two.

Speaking to Joe Molloy about Tiger Roll's performance, he thinks it will be tough now going forward for the Michael O'Leary owned horse.

"I think the ground at Aintree will probably influence the price and weight [for Tiger Roll], he was 4/1 last year I don't think it's going to make any real difference.

"It is not going to be a penalty kick though, it's the Grand National after all so it is going to be difficult for Tiger Roll," Duggan said.

Willie Mullins did having something to cheer about with his horse Ferny Hollow.

"He beat the more fancied runner Appreciate it to win the Weatherby's Champion Bumper.

"In terms of the other races, Aramax won for Gordon Elliot in the Juvenile hurdle, with Mark Walsh riding him," he said.

There was one horse in particular though which caught his eye on day two.

"We have got an absolute superstar on our hands with Envoi Allen, he put the race to bed and just murdered them.

"I think he actually could be a Champion chaser, he could be a Gold Cup horse, he was really impressive," Duggan stated.
