Ray Houghton joined the show this evening to pay tribute to the man who broke Irish hearts at the 1990 World Cup Salvatore 'Totò' Schillaci, after his passing earlier on today, following a battle with illness.
Schillaci scored the winning goal for 'Gli Azzurri' against Ireland in the quarter-finals of the tournament - etching himself in both Italian & Irish folklore. Totò went on to appear in Smithwicks advertisements, as well as attend the National Ploughing Championships alongside Ray in 2022, becoming somewhat of a cult hero on the Emerald Isle.
