Mike Tyson will "absolutely" box again after Jones Jr bout

Mike Tyson is keen to return to the boxing ring after his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr last night.

54-year-old Mike Tyson isn't calling it quits just yet after a return to action. The former Heavyweight champion returned to the boxing ring last night after a 15-year hiatus.

The bar was not set high for the two veterans, but the end product wasn't all that bad. Tyson displayed his signature punching power, loading up on combinations and landing some shots.

Jones Jr, on the other hand, opted for a more defensive approach, countering with quick footwork and clinching as the rounds progressed.

The fight won't appear on their official boxing records. The WBC provided three celebrity judges who scored the bout a draw.

"I'm good with a draw," Tyson said post-fight. "I'm good with that."

Will Tyson hang up his gloves?

Jones Jr was quick to compliment Iron Mike in the aftermath of the fight. "The dude is so strong. The body shots definitely took a toll."

While it may not be a return to normal, Tyson is keen to keep the momentum going in his new boxing stint. "I'm just happy I got this under my belt. I'm continuing to go further and do more."

Who will be his opponent? It's unclear as of yet. Tyson wasn't opposed to running it back with Jones Jr, declaring "we gotta do this again."

With all that's said and done, it was a successful night for the legendary boxers in a risky return to the ring. Tyson added "I was afraid I might get hurt. I haven't done this in 15, 16 years. I'm not a giant, I'm a beginner."
