Graham Shaw's ladies dispatched of Spain in a tense 3-2 sudden death shootout after the game finished 1-1 in regulation time.
Upton joined Nathan Murphy in OTB within minutes of their victorious 3-2 sudden death penalty shootout victory over their Spanish counterparts.
"Today was another World Cup Final - and we came through. It's just been unbelievable,' said the heroine.
The Irish player says the team have exceeded their wildest dreams but will not alter their preparation and mindset ahead of tomorrow's game.
"We've be lying if we said it wasn't. We came here with a goal to get out of our pool, and we felt the quarter-final could be in reach. We've been playing every game as if it was the world cup final.
Ireland will now face the Netherlands in tomorrow's final. The Dutch beat Australia on penalties in another tense semi-final.
Upton says Shaw's side have nothing to lose ahead of tomorrow's match.
"We are there now. We have nothing to lose. We are on the podium now. We didn't imagine in our wildest dreams that we would be on the podium, but we are.
The final gets underway at 4:30pm tomorrow afternoon in the English capital.
