Dan McFarland says his side showed tremendous discipline during Ulster's 14-point victory over Leicester Tigers at Kingspan Stadium.
A tremendous second-half performance secured a 24-10 victory for the Irish province and after the game, McFarland praised his team's gradual improvement since the start of the season.
"We were pretty disciplined throughout the game," he said. "We only gave nine penalties away which is in stark contrast to the last two games. We were really pleased with that.
"It's a great result for us. It was a great night I hope the crowd enjoyed it."
Alan O’Connor, Will Addison and Jacob Stockdale all crossed for the home side in the second half and McFarland says the scores only came after they eliminated their first-half mistakes.
"In the first half it was pretty simple. There was a lot of intent and we played some good rugby, but we turned the ball over nine times.
"You can't be profligate like that and hope to win matches. At half time we talked about being more direct and getting the support players near to the ball carriers.
"We wanted to be more clinical in the opposition 22 and we demonstrated that by taking our chances in the second half."
