SOCCER

Chelsea will play Arsenal next month in the final of this season's FA Cup.

Frank Lampard's side were comfortable 3-1 winners over Manchester United at Wembley last night.

Arsenal secured their place with a 2-nil win over Manchester City on Saturday.

Leicester City's hopes of finishing in the Premier League's top-four were dealt a big blow after they lost 3-0 away at Tottenham yesterday.

At the bottom of the table, Bournemouth lost 2-nil against Southampton - leaving them three points off safety with just one game remaining.

Tonight, Wolves can move back up to sixth place with a win against Crystal Palace.

Sheffield United must beat Everton to keep their outside hopes of Europa League qualification alive.

Elsewhere, Brighton host Newcastle.

Watford have confirmed head coach Nigel Pearson has left the club with immediate effect.

He's the third managerial casualty at Vicarage Road this season.

Hayden Mullins and Graham Stack will look after the first team for the final two games of the campaign - with the club three points above the relegation zone.

Barnsley kept their hopes of Championship survival alive with an injury time winner against Nottingham Forest yesterday.

The 1-nil victory leaves the Yorkshire club two points from safety going into the final round of games on Wednesday.

Champions Leeds continued their celebrations with a 3-1 win at Derby.

GOLF

Spain's Jon Rahm  is golf's new world number one.

The 25-year-old won the Memorial tournament in Ohio last night, with a final round of 75 enough for him to win by three on nine under par.

Rahm is the second Spaniard, after Seve Ballesteros, to top the rankings.

He replaces Rory McIlroy, who finished back on four over, after a 78 yesterday.

FORMULA ONE

Lewis Hamilton leads Formula 1's world championship this morning after winning yesterday's Hungarian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen took second place, with Valtteri Bottas coming third.

Hamilton's now won two of the first three races this season - following last weekend's success in Austria.

CRICKET

England's cricketers have the chance to level the 3-match Test series against the West Indies today - if they can seal victory on the final day of the second Test.

Joe Root's side resume with a lead of 219 runs after finishing yesterday's session on 37 for 2 in their second innings.
