Team Ireland has its fourth medal of the Olympic Games.
An assured performance from boxer Kellie Harrington secured the Dubliner at least a bronze medal in the lightweight division on Tuesday morning.
She overcame the challenge of Algeria's Imane Khelif via a unanimous decision.
Hopes will be high that Harrington can upgrade her medal to silver, or gold, in the coming days.
She now faces Sudaporn Seedonsee of Thailand in the last four.

The Thai fight got the better of Caroline Dubois in their quarter-final joust.
The semi-final fight takes place on Thursday morning at 6am Irish time.
In achieving a place in the semi-finals, Harrington displayed grit and composure to see off her opponent.
A positive start had her in a good position as the fight progressed through the rounds.
The win ensures a unique trio for Harrington.
She is now a European, World and Olympic medalist.
Elsewhere overnight, Andrew Coscoran qualified for the men's 1500 metres semi-finals.
He went through as one of the fastest competitors that finished outside of the automatic qualifiers.
His time of 3.37.11 saw him progress to the semi-final, which takes place on Thursday at 12pm.
Leon Reid also made his way through in the 200 metres.
His time of 20.53 was a season's best - and was the same as Ukraine's Serhiy Smelyk.
However, Reid went through.
Marcus Lawler missed out after a time of 20.73 in his heat.
There was major disappointment for Phil Healy, who failed to progress following a close-run women's 400 metres.
It looked as though the Cork woman would go through as one of the six fastest qualifiers, after a time of 51.98 to finish fourth in her heat.
But Cyrpus' Eleni Artymata beat Healy's time by 0.07 seconds in the final heat overtake her and secure a place in the semi-finals.
Later today, Team Ireland has three competitors in equestrian's individual jumping event.
Bertram Allen is aboard Pacino Amiro, while Cartello will be under Darragh Kenny and Cian O'Connor goes out with his horse Kilkenny.
The competition is due to get underway at 11am.
