Marcus Rashford has received massive backing from local businesses in the UK as part of his campaign to end child food poverty.
The Manchester United striker, who scored the winning goal against PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday night, is fighting to provide free meals for the most vulnerable children until Easter 2021.
A vote on the measures was backed by Labour and made its way to Parliament but it was voted down by the UK government on Wednesday night.
Rashford, who had free school meals growing up, responded to the news by posting a long message on Twitter.
"A significant number of children are going to bed tonight not only hungry but feeling like they do not matter.
"We must stop stigmatising, judging and pointing fingers. Our views are being clouded by political affiliation. This is not politics, this is humanity."

By 10.30pm on Thursday, Rashford revealed he got a huge response from local businesses.

He then started to post locations from various sites to help find locations for free meals.

There were offers from all over England including Bolton, Liverpool, Sheffield, Wigan, Bristol, Manchester, Devon, Nottingham and Hull.
Rashford has more than 3 million followers on Twitter and was back posting on Friday morning just before 8am with more locations for offers of free meals.
The 22-year-old was recently awarded an MBE after forcing a government U-turn on free school meal vouchers over the summer holidays.
Rashford will be back in Premier League action on Saturday when Chelsea visit Old Trafford.
Asked if there was anything left to say about the work Rashford is doing off the pitch, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "Probably not!
"But he's now at a stage, we all speak about Marcus as this experienced boy and he's 23 soon.
"He's just between being a talent and being experienced, and you can see more and more of that experience coming out.
"We hope and we trust that Marcus' background here, background with his family will keep him just developing and kick him on in his career."
