PSG stun Man United at Old Trafford

Manchester United have it all to do in their tie against PSG.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suffered his first defeat as interim manager as Paris Saint Germain secured a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford.

Centre back Presnel Kimpembe fired PSG in front at a set-piece eight minutes after half-time.

That was before World Cup final goalscorer Kylian Mbappe got a touch on an inch-perfect low cross from ex-United midfielder Angel Di Maria.

Surprise?

United failed to get back into the game. And their task got that bit harder on 89 minutes when Paul Pogba earned a second yellow card for a foul on Dani Alves.

The result comes as something of a surprise. Man United had in come into the game unbeaten under Solskjaer and PSG were missing Neymar and Edinson Cavani.

The second leg will now take place on Wednesday, March 6th.

Elsehwere tonight, AS Roma beat FC Porto 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico. Highly rated Italian youngster Nicolo Zaniolo scored two second half goals within three minutes. But Porto's Adrian Lopez pulled one back to leave the tie finally poised.
