Off The Ball teamed up with Pepsi Max who brought the UEFA Champions League Trophy to Ireland! The legendary piece of silverware landed on Irish soil last weekend, which was the first time Pepsi Max brought it to Ireland!

Over the next few weeks, we'll be looking at the goals, rivalries, controversies and all the rest that makes the Champions League an unmissable part of our football calendar.

Up next we have the five best Champions League games ever played.

5. Juventus vs Manchester United 1999 (2-3)

Before their incredible comeback in the 1999 Champions League final, United had to overcome an even bigger lead in the semi-final against Juventus. Filippo Inzaghi scored two early goals to put them 3-1 up on aggregate.

With a performance for the ages, Roy Keane dragged his team back into the game with a header from a corner. 10 minutes later, Dwight Yorke made it 2-2. Then with five minutes to go in regular time, his strike partner Andy Cole had a tap in after Yorke was fouled in the penalty area.

4. Barcelona vs Chelsea 2012 (2-2)

One of the bigger shocks in recent memory, few would have picked Chelsea to prevail against one of the best teams in Champions League history.

Chelsea's captain John Terry managed to get sent off after 37 minutes, leaving his team in serious peril. When Iniesta scored to make it 2-0, it felt as though it would be a long night for Chelsea.

A sensational chip from Ramires though turned the tide and deep into injury time, Fernando Torres rounded Victor Valdes to send Chelsea into the Champions League final.

3. Manchester City vs Monaco 2017 (5-3)

I remember watching this game and thinking how absolutely bonkers it was. City went ahead early with a goal from Sterling but were pegged back when Falcao equalised. Mbappe then put Monaco ahead before Aguero equalised in the second half.

A wonderful chip from Falcao put Monaco ahead once again, before Aguero scored a second time to make it 3-3. John Stones got on the end of a corner to put them ahead before Sane capped off an enthralling game with a tap in from a counter attack.

2.Manchester City vs Tottenham 2019 (4-3)

Another wild game involving Manchester City, this time though they ended up on the losing side of things. Quarter finals don't come more action packed than this one.

Sterling scored after 4 minutes to kick things off, but two goals in three minutes from Heung-Min Son had Spurs ahead.

A goal from Bernardo Silva made it 2-2 before Sterling scored again to make it 3-2. The game was far from over though as Aguero scored again in the 60th minute before Llorente kneed it home to make it 4-3 and cap off one of the most dramatic games the competition has seen.

1. Chelsea vs Liverpool (2009) (4-4)

Few games were able to match the relentless pace of Chelsea and Liverpool's quarter-final in 2009. Two domestic rivals put on a stunning display of football with more twists and turns than a bobsled race.

A clever free kick from Fabio Aurelio caught Petr Cech off guard and started the Liverpool comeback. They were then awarded a penalty which Xabi Alonso duly converted. Goals from Drogba and Alex made it all level though after 6o minutes.

Frank Lampard made it 3-2 to put Chelsea back on top, but Lucas and Kuyt ripped up the script and put Liverpool on the brink of qualifying. Then in the 89th minute, captain on the night Lampard cropped up again and sealed the win for Chelsea to put an end to one of the greatest games ever played.
