Mino Raiola names four teams Erling Haaland could join in the summer

Erling Haaland's agent believes there is a "great chance" the much sought after striker will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The notoriously shy and retiring Mino Raiola has even gone so far as to name four potential destinations for the Norwegian sharpshooter.

Haaland's contract at Dortmund runs until the summer of 2024, and the Bundesliga club's sporting director Michael Zorc has said time-and-again they're in no rush to sell.

That hasn't prevented Raiola from frequently sounding out interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

Speaking to Sport1, the super agent said, "He can and will take the next step. Bayern, Real, Barcelona, City - these are the big clubs he can go to.

"City has won the championship five times in recent years, significantly more than United. When we moved to Dortmund, we all knew that this step would come.

"Maybe this summer, maybe the summer after. But there is a great chance that Erling will leave this summer.

"We will see."

Talk persists of a release clause in Haaland's contract that would potentially allow him to leave for between €75million and €90million.

While he would not be drawn on the specifics of the striker's contract, Raiola said, "Whatever is in a contract, is in a contract. That stays between me and the player.

"There are only two parties that are allowed to say something to the outside world: the club and the player. I never talk about details.

"We and Dortmund know exactly what has to happen. We have structured that very clearly. Contract or not: we always have a very open communication.

"We treat each other honestly. That is much more important than anything that is on paper. Paper is only there if something goes wrong, then you need it, but not otherwise."

Raiola was also asked about another of his high-profile clients - Paul Pogba - who is out of contract with Manchester United in the summer.

Interim United boss Ralf Rangnick said on Friday he plans further talks with the 28-year old over his future.

Raiola told Sport1 that he has had many offers for Pogba, but specifically ruled out a move to Bayern Munich as neither they - nor any other Bundesliga club - can afford his wages.
