WATCH: Tottenham slump to goalless snoozefest at Bournemouth

Tottenham's slump into mid-table mediocrity under Jose Mourinho continued with a scoreless draw away to Bournemouth.

Before tonight's game, the hosts had conceded nine goals in just two matches, had lost each of their last five and were second-from-bottom in the Premier League table.

Against Mourinho's Spurs, they were made look like Fabio Capello's miserly Milan side of the early 90s.

Sure, Spurs will have cause to question why they were not given a first-half penalty after Harry Kane was bundled over by Josh King, but beyond that Mourinho's charges were toothless.

In fact, it was Bournemouth who looked like they'd take all three points when Callum Wilson found the net from an overhead kick.

But ironically it was King's involvement that denied Eddie Howe's side the goal as the ball clipped his arm en route past Hugo Lloris.

The point leaves Bournemouth three-points from safety with four games remaining against Leicester, Manchester City, Southampton and Everton.

For Tottenham......zzzzzzz

Sorry, drifted off there.

There were a couple of goals to speak of at Goodison Park where Everton and Southampton played out a 1-1 draw.

The career renaissance of Danny Ings continued with his 19th goal of the season.

He was unlucky not to break the deadlock prior to beating Jordan Pickford, with the Everton keeper scrambling a flicked Ings header onto the woodwork.

Southampton also won a contentious penalty, which James Ward-Prowse sent into the Gwladys St. end rather than Pickford's net.

Lucas Digne's brilliant restart continued. His searching ball from the left flank was ideal for Richarlison to latch onto and divert the ball past Alex McCarthy.
