Frank Lampard was not a happy man after his side crashed out of the FA Cup.
It hasn't been an amazing start to life at Everton for Frank Lampard, and things got even worse as his side were knocked out of the FA Cup in emphatic fashion.
Wilfried Zaha got on the scoresheet as Crystal Palace thrashed Everton 4-0 to book their place in the semi-final of the competition.
Lampard was scathing of his players after the game, claiming that they lacked 'bollocks' in their defeat.
"There's only so much you can do to butter someone up and give them confidence," the Toffees boss said.
"There's a balance of confidence / we're playing the cutthroat end of football here."
"This is a quarter-final today to get to Wembley. And if you haven't got the confidence to play, you can quickly flip that and say; 'Have you got the bollocks to play?"
"That's the football reality."
🗣️ "If you haven't got the confidence to play, you can quickly flip it and say, have you got the b******* to play?"
