The 10 most watched Off The Ball feature interviews from 2018

So that's it in another year for Off The Ball and now's the time to sit back, enjoy the Christmas and then hastily return for the St Stephen's Day football action.

We might as well look back at what 2018 had in store for us when it came to major interviews. So in descending order, here are our most watched feature interviews from the year!

1. The Mountain

May 2018

If you're a fan of Game Of Thrones as most of us are on team OTB, we were treated to the company of a literal man mountain on OTB AM: Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson AKA Gregor Clegane AKA The Mountain from the HBO show.

2. Darren Till

January 2018

All the way back in January, English UFC fighter Darren Till chatted to OTB AM at the launch of UFC3.

3. Martin Johnson

March 2018

Former England captain Martin Johnson had never really spoken about the infamous red carpet incident at Lansdowne Road in 2003. But alongside Brian O'Driscoll and Joe Molloy at the National Concert Hall, he spilled the beans on what was going through his mind at the time. The full interview is here.

4. Stephen Hendry

May 2018

The Scottish snooker legend spoke to Shane Hannon at the Crucible in the Spring about decline, slow play and regretting retirement.

5. Isa Nacewa

June 2018

Isa Nacewa called time on a stellar Leinster career, signing off with another Heineken Champions Cup in Bilbao. Not long after that, Brian O'Driscoll sat down with his long time former team-mate.

6. Ronnie O'Sullivan

May 2018

Like Stephen Hendery, the iconic Ronnie O'Sullivan was also at the Crucible and took time out to chat to Shane Hannon about his own career and the latest trends in snooker.

7. Michael Owen

April 2018

Former Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Newcastle United striker Michael Owen was in very candid form as he told Joe Molloy, among other topics, why he had few friends during his playing career.

8. Ronan O'Gara

October 2018

The Munster and Ireland legend has been coaching in New Zealand most recently and ahead of the November Internationals, he filled Joe Molloy in on how he's been getting on and his own views on the way the current game is trending.

9. Tadhg Furlong

February 2018

Round about Six Nations time as Ireland were starting the journey which would end with a Grand Slam triumph, Ireland's own world class tighthead prop Tadhg Furlong joined Ger Gilroy and Eoin Sheahan on OTB AM where discussions included his own experience playing GAA as a youngster and what it was like playing with the Lions for the first time.

10. Peter Crouch

September 2018

One of the nicest and most self-deprecating people in football, Peter Crouch was in affable form as he chatted to Joe Molloy about stories from his autobiography.

You'll find more most-viewed interviews from the year including Harry Redknapp chatting to Dave McIntyre, Mike Ross in depth with Joe Molloy, Liam Lawrence speaking to his old team-mate Keith Andrews, Raf Diallo chatting to the founder of Arsenal Fan TV and Celtic legends Alan Thompson and Jackie McNamara sharing stories at one of our football Roadshows. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we'll see you on the other side.
