David Brady and Jason Ryan predict the Super 8s final round of games

As the Super 8s grind to a halt, this weekend will decide the fates of the counties still in with a chance of advancing to the All Ireland Football Championship semi finals.

Group 1 has Galway top on four points ahead of Monaghan (3) and Kerry (1). Galway and Monaghan go head to head in the knowledge that a win or draw for the latter will eliminate one of the aristocrats of the inter-county game in the shape of Kerry. The Kingdom will qualify for the last four themselves if Monaghan lose and Kerry see off Kildare, who are already out, and swing the point difference in their favour.

Meanwhile, Group 2 has Dublin already through which means the second qualification spot will be a straight shoot-out between Ulster rivals Tyrone and Donegal in Ballybofey with the winner advancing. If it's a draw then point difference works out in Tyrone's favour.

To look ahead to the last Super 8 group games, former Mayo midfielder David Brady and ex-Kildare manager Jason Ryan joined Nathan Murphy to through the key battles and predictions.

On the latter, Ryan said, "For me, Monaghan are going to beat Galway. I think there's more at stake there. And in the other game, I think home advantage for Kerry and the fact that they can still get there into the semi finals so I'm going to go for Kerry."

Meanwhile, DB feels the motivation of trying to avoid Dublin in the semi finals will motivate Galway to win the game against Monaghan.

"I think Galway know they need the easier route and it's an absolute golden opportunity and it's a carrot for them to stay away from Dublin and take the likes of Donegal or Tyrone who they won't be afraid of and I think it will be a Galway and Kerry win," he said.
