Welcome to our inaugural daily sports round-up, brought to you from the deepest recesses of a caffeine-addled journalist up before his time, but full of the enthusiasm that only a week of sporting blitzkrieg can provide.
The footballing world was privy to a couple more exciting comebacks last night, as Salzburg and Marseille gave the bookies a helping hand and will provide two of the four Europa League semi-finalists. Arsenal almost Arsenaled, but didn't quite, and will hope to avoid odds-on Atletico Madrid in the final four.
On OTB AM this morning, we preview this morning's newspapers, discuss the football action this week and this coming weekend with apple crumble enthusiast Kenny Cunningham, look to the Champions Cup action with Alan Quinlan and a full look at the runners and riders with the Irish Independent's Johnny Ward and Newstalk Sport's John Duggan.
And we're off..!
