Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel says his side were left "frustrated" following their scoreless draw with Ireland on Saturday night.
Having shipped nine goals in their last two competitive fixtures, Martin O'Neill's side were able to pick up a first point of their UEFA Nations League campaign.
Speaking to OffTheBall.com's Jamie Moore after the game, Schmeichel said the Irish performance was predictable.
"We're slightly disappointed and frustrated," he said. "I think it's quite obvious to see that we were the better team today.
"The better team doesn't always win. You've got to be a little bit cynical and say right, we've come away from home and got a scoreless draw. We'll take that.
"We basically came up against what we expected. We played against them 11 months ago and they played the exact same way. They didn't do anything different."
Ireland now go into Tuesday night's clash looking to build on Saturday's momentum, with the result hailed by some of those within the Irish camp as "progress".
Schmeichel, however, said the fault lay with Denmark's inability to put Ireland to the sword.
"Our finishing wasn't quite there today, the ball didn't quite drop for us in that sense.
"Apart from that, we played a good game. I thought we deserved to win it but football is not always like that."
Denmark remain top of the group with four points from their opening two games.
