Ahead of Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leicester City, we caught up with Mark Lawrenson to talk Manchester City.
The former Liverpool joined us to discuss City's shock defeat at Newcastle which has dented their title hopes.
Four points clear already, Liverpool could go seven points clear if they beat Leicester.
Lawro was shocked at how poor City were at St James' Park.
"They never really got firing which is really unusual for them because they've got such a fantastic squad," he said.
Iffy
"There's normally somebody that will ignite them. But on the night, it just wasn't the case. The full-backs - I thought - were really ordinary as well. They didn't really help out.
"But they've been a little bit iffy lately Manchester City. We know they beat Burton easily and we know they beat Rotherham in the Cup. And we know they beat Burnley. But in the league, if you look at the form, it just hasn't been great.
"Really, they're playing for me like a team that were four points clear of Liverpool, rather than the other way round."
And Lawrenson believes the trend will worry Guardiola.
"That's the first time in a long time Manchester City have looked average over 90-plus minutes," he said.
"Even when Crystal Palace beat them at home, they still had lots of chances. But two worrying things for Guardiola last night: A) They lost the game, but really they seem to have lost their mojo."
