While they didn't get the away goal they needed, Manchester United got the next best thing in their Champions League last-16 first leg against Sevilla.
A 0-0 draw was a solid if uninspiring result and seemed to be a good platform for a win at home in the second leg against a Sevilla side that are significantly less potent away from their Sanchez Pizjuan home.
But two second half goals from Sevilla's Wassim Ben Yedder at Old Trafford had United on the ropes and ultimately it was the La Liga club who prevailed 2-1 on aggregate with the home side only offering a consolation from Romelu Lukaku, leaving Manchester United out of the Champions League.
Our own Kevin Kilbane was at Old Trafford and joined us at full time to sum up a disappointing night for Jose Mourinho and his team who were hoping for a deep run in the competition this season.

"Overall, they offered very little," said Kevin of Man United.
"Their attacking players in Alexis Sanchez, certainly behind him in Jesse Lingard and of course Marcus Rashford offered very little.
"Lukaku was probably United's best out-field player but he was just given no real support and he was given no real quality played into him."
Marouane Fellaini was selected in midfield, and along with Nemanja Matic, provided a cautious approach from Mourinho.
"United were just too cautious. Fellaini comes in because he brings physicality and you want to be putting balls into the penalty area and he did have a little bit of licence throughout the first half to get beyond Matic. Matic was the one sitting at the base of midfield. But I think in general the quality was lacking. There weren't any quality balls played into the penalty area and since you're not getting that, what's the point of having Fellaini on the pitch."
And in terms of where the blame ultimately lies for United: "I certainly lay the blame totally on Jose Mourinho for tonight".
