Alan Quinlan joined Friday's OTBAM with a big weekend of rugby ahead of us as the inter-provincial clashes kick-off.
The former Munster flanker believes the team need a big performance against Ulster to get their season back on track.
"First and foremost they've got to find a performance tomorrow against Ulster and a positive one," Quinlan told Adrian. "I think there's more pressure on them to get a really good performance tomorrow - there will be a reaction. They'll probably be disgusted with themselves, coaches and players last week.
"It's probably the manner in the loss in Cardiff. Everybody was excited about the team that was picked. It was close to, if not, the starting pack for Europe in a couple of weeks.
"Kleyn and Byrne in the second row, O'Mahony, Stander, Kleute, Tommy O'Donnell - there was a lot of quality there, good impact off the bench.
"I was thinking, very surprisingly, they were physically out-muscled and beaten in the physical challenges and very, very passive in defence.
"So, there was a lot of incidents in the game where you're looking and you're thinking 'Jesus, this is really bad' and they'll be very frustrated themselves and I'm sure there would have been harsh words this week.
"The concern is they went to Glasgow, you give them a bit of a pass on that one as it was the first away trip, a very strong side but the worry is, those two away games, they were physically out-muscled and just didn't turn up.
"In Glasgow, at least they came out in the second half and there was a massive reaction and they played a lot better. There was a lot of positives to take out of it - very few positives last week.
"So, they play Ulster tomorrow evening at Thomond Park and Ulster have three win and a loss and they'll fancy their chances going sown to Thomond Park and then, obviously come to Dublin to play Leinster next week and away to Exeter so for all the teams - it's a massive couple of weeks and I think for Munster in particular, they've got to bring a lot of energy and execution tomorrow night.
"But, it can all change very quickly - a good result this week and they'll be in good spirits coming to Dublin but they really can't afford a bad performance tomorrow night or it's going to be a really challenging couple of weeks to switch it around for the bigger games."
