It's been the most anticipated heavyweight fight since Anthony Joshua dethroned Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley.
But we're almost there now as one of Klitschko's other conquerors, Tyson Fury, prepares to fight another leading contender in the shape of Deontay Wilder.
It could prove to be an intriguing bout at Los Angeles' Staples Centre on Saturday night.
Boxing journalist Declan Taylor joined us on tonight's show and we got his take on how the scales will be tipped in LA between two fighters with an element of the unknown quantity.
"I'm not expecting the firefight that everyone else is," he said.
"But hopefully it lives up to the hype. Let's hope so. We never quite know with these sorts of fights."
Taylor outlined why he would have concerns about how exciting the fight itself will end up being.
"Stylistically, they're both two awkward guys - massive, long guys - and I can't stop thinking of the Fury-Klitschko fight which was a great performance by Fury but it wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination. I can kind of see this one being similar."
In terms of how the fight will play out, Taylor says, "I just can't see Wilder tracking [Fury] down", given Fury's movement and that if he falls behind on points in the rounds, the American will get desperate to find that one punch.
"But it only takes one second as [Wilder] said very nicely in the build-up to this fight," he said.
"'Fury's got to be perfect for 12 rounds, he's got to be perfect for one second' and that's absolutely right."
