Brian O'Driscoll believes Ireland will be playing for a Grand Slam on the final weekend of the 2019 Six Nations.
No team has achieved back-to-back Grand Slams in the Six Nations era. But a strong Ireland are contenders, having won it in 2018.
Brian O'Driscoll and Keith Wood joined us on Off The Ball ahead of the opener against England. And both are confident about Ireland's chances against Eddie Jones' England.
"I think we'll win. I think it could be an eight pointer," said former Ireland captain BOD.
"I'm confident, excessively bullish perhaps but I just think that, going back to Keith's points about the provinces in Europe, we've won 17, drawn one and lost one to English teams."
Fellow former Ireland captain Keith is perhaps even more confident when it comes to the margin of victory.
"I think over 10 points - I think 11 or 12. That's where I am," he said.
Grand Slam
While Keith isn't as confident that any of the six teams will win the Grand Slam, Brian believes an Ireland Grand Slam is a possibility.
"I think there's a Slam there, I do," he said.
"I think they'll win this weekend and I feel as though there'll be a Grand Slam. One team will be playing for a Grand Slam on the final weekend and I've a sense it's going to be Ireland."
In the full chat, Brian and Keith also talked about Robbie Henshaw starting at full-back. Plus, they also discussed England's main threats and the other four nations.
